Charles Evans

Biography :
Brother Evans was born and raised in Idaho Falls, ID. He is the second of 4 children and was the only boy in his family. He served a mission in the Missouri, St. Louis Mission and afterward attended Ricks College in Rexburg where he met Elissa Johnson of Paul, Idaho. They were married in the Idaho Falls temple on June 11, 1991. They attended the University of Idaho after leaving Ricks College. Brother and Sister Evans loved Moscow, and if it were a little closer might want to return there. A little know fact is that the church’s first Institute program was founded at the University of Idaho. While attending U of I, the Evans’ first two of six children were born, with four more joining the clan after they moved to Aberdeen, Idaho. They have lived in Burley for nine years, and Brother Evans has worked for Redder’s Showkase for the last five years. He received the call to teach Institute three and a half years ago and has loved every minute of it. Brother Evans says about teaching “Institute night is my favorite night of the week. I genuinely love spending time with the young adults of our generation, they are so inspiring!”

Ben McClure

Biography :
I grew up in Firth, Idaho and served a mission in Santiago, Chile. I earned degrees from BYU-Idaho, BYU, and a Masters degree from Boise State University. I like computers and sports. Most of all I love Heavenly Father, my wife and 5 daughters.

Benjamin Thomas Nelson

Biography :
Ben Nelson was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. When he was 15 years old, he was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After attending one semester at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, Ben left to serve in the Brazil Belem Mission. Upon the successful completion of his mission, Ben returned to BYU where he met and married Kristen Hardy from Oakley, Idaho in the Salt Lake City Temple in 2001. Ben graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. Ben has worked in the banking industry since 2001, when he started as a part-time teller while attending BYU. He has worked at D.L. Evans Bank since 2007 and is the Senior Vice President over Residential Mortgage Lending. Ben and Kristen are proud to call Oakley, Idaho home and have lived here since 2006. They have had six children: five boys and one girl. Ben loves the Church and has had the privilege of serving in a variety of capacities, including the Young Men’s Presidency, Sunday School Presidency, Ward Mission Leader, Ward Financial Clerk, Elder’s Quorum Instructor, Gospel Doctrine teacher, and as a Primary worker. Ben loves the Restored Gospel and is excited to have the opportunity to participate in Institute.
